The Staphylokinase is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Introduction: Staphylokinase (SAK) is a 136-amino acid enzyme from Staphylococcus aureus. It is positively regulated by the ,agr, gene regulator. It activates plasminogen, which in turn can degrade various host proteins during infection.
